Dear NATPA Members:

As the chair of the Nomination Committee of NATPA, I like to call for the nomination of Board of Directors for serving NATPA from October 1st. 2016 to September 30th. 2018.

According to NATPA Bylaws, we need to elect four (4) Board Directors for the term of 2016-2018 to represent four geographical divisions in North America (Northeast, South, Midwest, and West).  These to-be-elected Board Directors are to replace four directors whose two-year term expires on September 30, 2016.   Active members (those who have paid their dues) are eligible to nominate candidates to the committee, and that includes yours truly, i.e. oneself.

The Nominating Committee will nominate a slate of candidates to the Board of Directors for approval.  We welcome your input and recommendation.  The Bylaws also stipulate that “Ten NATPA members may, by petition, nominate a candidate or candidates.  Such petitions must be received by the NATPA not later than thirty days preceding the election.”   On the other hand, the revised Bylaws require the ballots to be sent out at least 60 days before the Annual Members Meeting.

As the Annual Meeting this year is scheduled from July 8 to July 10, 2016, we urge members who want to nominate candidates to contact Nomination Committee ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before April 24th to make sure a ballot including the names of candidates nominated by Nomination Committee and by petition can be sent out for your vote in time before May 8th.

Thank you for your support. NATPA requires and much appreciates your input and participation to make us a flourishing organization.

Sincerely yours,

Nomination Committee

Charles Hsu, Chair
